This discipline is designed to minimize the time taken by managers in trying to work out which staff are and aren't available for scheduling on specific shifts and days. It also ensures that if staff must have a certain qualification to work a certain time or area that only staff with that qualification can be selected.

The Cost View

The final process in the employee scheduling process uses the staff picker screen, which brings together your information created in the staff availability map and the roster templates as well as staff requests and preferences.

At that point an estimated cost for the staff schedule is provided to the users. With this information the TimeTarget scheduling software allows the manager to optimize the staff employee schedule for the best cost that also delivers the right balance of staff.

At this point employees can view and print their schedules at the kiosk or at home and make preference requests on line.
