Project Management
The EPS Professional Project Management module assists landlords and tenants
in the management of single and multi-site projects. A project may be as simple as
changing the branding of a few retail stores, refitting a single new lease
or as complex as redesigning layout of a whole retail.
The module supports the management of all three phases of a project:
Feasibility Planning, Planning and Design and Implementation.
Feasibility Planning
During the initial stages of the project the Project Management
module is used to develop costing models for use in the business
planning and capital budgeting process. The product's simple
project copying and benchmarking abilities make it very easy to
quickly develop budget costing for use in the early stages of
feasibility analysis.
Planning and Design
Once a project has been approved, the Project Management module
supports detailed design, timelines and cost planning for the
project. Again the templating features of the product make it very
easy to simply copy a prototype project and increase the project
detail ready for implementation. Detailed purchasing lists can be
quickly developed and customised using the Construction Group and
Construction Item concepts.
Implementation
Once the project is up and running the software supports all
aspects of vendor administration and project management. It has a
critical date calendar that identifies critical dates
to track project milestones and tasks.
Full authorisation and payment administration occurs within
Project Management and links to your accounting system to perform cheque
runs and manage accounts payable. This ensures functionality
duplication does not occur. The system also supports deliveries to
multiple locations for use in multi-lease projects.
Performance Management
Overlaying the project management module is a full Performance
Management module that provides ongoing project reporting. At any
stage reporting on commitments to date, over/under budget status,
costs to complete, milestones completed, and more can be provided
on one project or many projects. This means that at any stage you
can understand the exact status of all of your projects.
