EPS Launches Rostering and Time and Attendance SoftwareIn line with our desire to provide cost saving solutions to our retailer clients, EPS is now providing Timeline Rostering and Time & Attendance software. Labour and property are the second and third highest cost areas for most retailers and we thought it important to provide an offering to help manage this second key area. Timeline was designed as a retail specific management tool that is simple to use and maintain, saving time and resources though process improvement. The system can be simply and easily deployed to each store location but allows head office to overview and manage the rosters created in each store. Cost savings from the system demonstrate a payback period of just a few months for most installations and are derived from four main areas:

Best and Less Implement Lease Management and Store Development systemBest and Less is in the final stages of an EPS Professional V5 implementation covering both lease management and store development aspects of the system. This version of EPS's lease management system includes extensive project management functionality designed to assist retails in the complex task of managing store fit out and refurbishment. Along with integration to their Masterpiece finance system, Best and Less have also implemented the CorVu performance management software. This combination will provide them with the ability to perform advanced analysis of their property lease portfolio helping them to effectively monitor/control all Property Lease costs associated with their business and minimise risk. Peter Millist (Executive Director - Property, for Best and Less) purchased EPS Professional for the 130 store chain after performing an extensive cost/benefit analysis which demonstrated an appropriate payback for the installation of the EPS Professional system. Sussan Upgrade to EPS Professional V5Sussan Group has recently decided to upgrade their EPS Professional 3.5 system to the new version, EPS Professional V5. In addition, they will be integrating EPS Professional to their JD Edwards accounting system. One of the key drivers of the upgrade and integration was the desire by Sussan to improve financial control of this key cost area and make property rent and outgoings reporting easier.
