Coles Myer sales rise 5.5%

Coles Myer Ltd (CML) has boosted half-year sales by 5.5% to $13.8 billion, over the 26 weeks ended 26 January. Second-quarter sales rose by 4.1% to $7.5 billion.

Citec, together with global e-security company MessageLabs, is to market the Citec Email Screening Solutions which targets spam, pornographic material and viruses.

According to Citec’s Gordon Cooper, the email screening service only takes 48 hours to set up and requires no additional hardware or software. It works by redirecting a client’s inbound and outbound mail within seconds to be scanned for spam, pornographic images and viruses by using artificial intelligence devices located across a global network of 22 central towers.
